Parade & Live Concert

Commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a community celebration! The event includes a parade, a lineup of live music performances, family friendly activities, displays, and food vendors.
This signature City event kicks off at 10:00 am with a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Parade along Plant Street.
To participate in the parade, preregistration is required due to limited space. To submit registration online, click here. To print form and return to Winter Garden Parks & Recreation Department, click here. Parade entry applications must be received no later than Tuesday, January 10, 2023, and will not be accepted after that date. All applicants will receive an email notification stating whether they are approved or not approved. All entries are eligible for the Parade Spirit Award.
For those wanting to watch the parade, bring a lawn chair or blanket and head to your favorite viewing spot along Plant Street (from Woodland St. to Central Ave.).
Immediately following the parade at about 10:30 am, the celebration continues with a lineup of top-notch music performances at the Downtown Pavilion. The Gerry Williams Band, Craig Thompson Project, and Selwyn Birchwood will be taking the stage throughout the day with the event concluding at 4:00 pm.

Celebrating the City's 120th Anniversary

Established in 1903, the City of Winter Garden commemorates its heritage with a special 120th anniversary extravaganza. Festivities include six stages of entertainment, strolling performers, and much more!
This Winter Garden Heritage & Music Festival is a FREE event for all ages and is brought to you by the City of Winter Garden along with the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation and other generous partners.
Live Music & Entertainment, 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
Simultaneous and continuous performances will be held at various outdoor stages throughout historic downtown stretching from Central Avenue to Dillard Street. The entertainment kicks off at 11:00 am and continues nonstop through 10:00 pm.

Evening at the Pops 2023

Where: Newton Park, Winter Garden
Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy an outdoor concert under the stars performed by the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra. Newton Park at the shore of Lake Apopka provides a stunning backdrop for this outdoor concert. This is a ticketed event.
An Instrument Petting Zoo for children will kick off the event at 4:30 pm.
Space Coast Symphony will perform starting at 6:00 pm
The event will be held at Newton Park, 31 W. Garden Avenue, in Winter Garden.

CHALKIN’ IT UP SIDEWALK ART CONTEST
The
annual chalk art contest is one of the most popular events of the
festival! Contestants of all ages bring the area in front of City Hall
to life with nature-related art. Stroll by and see their creativity in
action. The contestants can start at daybreak and judging takes place at
4:00 pm. The amazing creations will remain for viewing throughout the
weekend, weather permitting.
The contest is free to enter and prizes
will be awarded. Contestants must bring their own chalk and supplies.

19th Annual All American Kids Parade & Breakfast

The All American Kids Parade is a popular tradition that all ages enjoy! Don you red, white, and blue and parade through historic downtown by foot, bike, scooter, wagon, etc. Wave to family and friends as you stroll by! Or, grab a favorite curbside viewing spot and cheer on the parade as it goes by. Either way, come downtown to be a part of this great 19-year-old tradition that brings the community together to celebrate America’s birthday.
Breakfast
Before the Parade, bring the family to a Pancake Breakfast, 8:00 – 9:45 am, at the Masonic Lodge. Kids eat free and breakfast is available for adults to purchase. There is also entertainment and fun activities for the kids!
Decorate
A variety of complimentary patriotic decorations is available just outside the Lodge to decorate bikes, scooters, wagons, and even your walking shoes, courtesy of the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation.
Parade
Line up at the Masonic Lodge at 9:45 am. The Parade kicks off promptly at 10:00 am and loops around downtown’s West Plant Street. The parades lasts about 30 minutes.
Everyone is welcome to join the parade of red, white, and blue -- on bike, scooter, or foot Spectators are welcome to line the street to get a good viewing spot to cheer on the parade participants. Bring your own chair to watch in comfort.
Winter Garden Masonic Lodge No. 165 hosts this event, in collaboration with the City of Winter Garden.
Party in the Park/Fireworks Display

The City of Winter Garden presents Party in the Park, one of the best firework shows in Central Florida!
Party in the Park is a FREE event for the community to celebrate America’s birthday. The SPECTACULAR fireworks display is over Lake Apopka and preshow entertainment includes live music, family activities, and more for all ages.
Festivities begin at 6:00 pm. and the Fireworks Show starts at 9:15 pm.
Bring a chair or blanket and pack a picnic (no alcohol is permitted) for a fun night under the stars and colorful sky.

Winter Garden Fire Rescue Annual SANTA RUN 2022
"Santa Claus is Coming to Town!"
The Winter Garden Fire Rescue annual “SANTA RUN” brings Santa and his sleigh through neighborhoods within city limits! This moving parade takes place on select nights as Santa -- along with elves of firefighters, police, and City staff-- spread holiday music, treats, and good cheer along the way.
Santa will be in the following areas from 5:45 − 9:00 pm on the following dates:

• Tuesday, December 13 − North East Winter Garden
• Wednesday, December 14 − South Winter Garden: CR 545 Corridor (West Side)
